Today's every day uses become more advanced and change with time. A every day use would be transportation which includes trains cars and buses HTML is an example of that because it changed the way people do things and go on the internet. A video is shown which talks about form and content along with other applications. There is also an article explaining how we should rethink school for the modern day and age and how writing is evolving from written text to digital text. A second video is shown to give a better idea on how new thinking has an influence on rethinking in terms of modern day society.

This video is about the transition from writing text to digital text. The video shows information on HTML. The content in the video shows the many uses of HTML. I recognize how HTML acts as the basis for all websites, like Google. Title does not define form, it defines the content. The form in the video is how the content is shown and the content is what is the data in the form. When the video explains that we are in control and not the machines I think its just saying that we program the machines and make the machines like the internet to adapt to our use. The word "rethink" means to think again about something like a course of action in order to make changes to it. Writing is evolving with the creation of new technology. I think that new technology influences writing.

In the article about rethinking schools it explains 21st century learning environments which are more modernized learning centers. The article explains how classrooms can be more flexible and have a bigger class size. With tight budgets in the economy, policy makers face tough decisions concerning whether school design really makes a difference in education. They fear that it would be a waste of money and time. This would have teachers increase their teaching quality towards classrooms to help the students further more. Reports argue that "learning environments" are traditionally a concrete place likes schools, classrooms and libraries. In today's technology driven world a learning environment can be virtual, online and remotely done. The article suggests that 21st century environment should blend digital and physical infrastructures. The report states that students need access to digital tools and resources that will help them understand and explore the future. Despite the article arguing the new age of digital learning people feel that the actual physical learning environment is important.

My father had to rethink many things in his life. Including the way he does things compared to how he did things in the past. My father explained to me how he used pass cards and that every deposit and withdraw was written down by the bank teller. The government has also changed. My father told me that there is much more equality now than there was was before when it comes to rights of a civilian. Businesses have also changed by expanding and marketing from one neighborhood to all over the world. He told me that he used to have a cell phone with an antenna and a pager. These are things that we might not even see any more because the world in general is so modernized. In todays public you might see that almost everyone has a touch screen phone or some sort of "smart" phone. Cars are being more and more advanced yearly. My father used to have a van, now he has a 2011 expedition with t.v's and a loud speaker system. Nobody would of had thought of a t.v in a car. Cars can park themselves by using motion sensors and can start with a push of a button. These are all things that someone would have to rethink as they get older with todays technology.

This video addresses the idea of rethinking by showing what if we only settled for the first invention. This shows how technology has evolved. From CD players to I-pods and old fashioned cameras to digital cameras. The video shows how new thinking brings new possibilities.

The idea to rethink influences many of the things that we use today. Things that we use for personal use like computers, elevators, cars and even toasters change and become more advanced. Technology and the machines are things that we perfect with time to help us benefit.
